THE SHRINKING CIGARETTE

You are supplied with a fake cigarette which is hollow and has a small mini, fake cigarette inside. You are supplied with a black metal tube and a brass lid.

Begin by showing the fake cigarette in your hands and hold it at the tips of your fingers. Hold it horizontally so the mini fake cigarette does not fall out.

Explain to your audience that as a magician you can stop people from smoking and push the large fake cigarette into the tube and quickly place the brass cap on. What happens here is the large cigarette will lock into place.

Say the magic words ….

When you then open the brass lid off the container you can then tell your audience you shrink cigarettes with magic and then dump the mini fake cigarette onto their hand.

Your audience will be baffled about how the large cigarette shrinks into a mini one.

The magic is done. It looks amazing….

To reset the trick use the black spinning tool. Push into the tube and twist it gently. It will capture the large cigarette so you can pull it out and start again. See image below. Just place the mini fake cigarette back into the large fake cigarette and you are ready to go!
